It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda L. Barnes of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Floyd T. Barnes; and her siblings, Ricky, Lloyd, Lenbyrd, Larry, Johnny Ray, Jeffery, Floyd Jr. "Guy" and Della.

She is survived by : her mother Effie L. Barnes; her sons, Larenzo Barnes, Demetrus Barnes and Jamar Smith; her siblings, Sarah Hawk, Gloria Barnes Jenette Mucker (Edward), Thomas Lee Barnes (Shireen), Dale Barnes (Brenda) and Quinton Barnes (LaShawn); her grandchildren, Alexus Harris, Alaysha Harris, Davonte Mizell, Jonaisha Knight-Quent, Jada Barnes, Jamani Copeland, Larenzo Barnes, Demetrus Jeff Barnes, Cameron Demetrus Darden, Capri Arnae Darden and Osiris O'Shea Barnes; and her great grandchildren, Kashaun Flythe, Kaia Mizell, Ha'saan White, A'Raya Harris, Nhaz Darden Greene and Nore Darden Greene. She is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
