She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Michael Ellis Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, E. Michael Ellis (Carla) and Christopher Ellis (Kim); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emma Jennings (Bradley), Benjamin, Rachel Weissner (William), Quincy, Kristen Montes (Daniel), Joelly, Vanessa, Owen, Zachary, Christopher, Jonathon, Nicholas and Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Wesley and Daniel Jr.; her sisters, Judith Atkins and Sandra Hepner; and her friends, Barry and Cherly Ashley.
