He is survived by: his wife Ellen Greco Tapman; his children, Laura Fleenor (Joseph), Brian Tapman (Cecile) and Karen Modesitt (Michael); and his grandchildren, Nathan Fleenor, Matthew Fleenor, Aiden Fleenor, Jack Tapman, Katherine Tapman, Kassidy Modesitt, Karissa Modesitt and Garrett Modesitt.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (500 Court St, Portsmouth, VA 23704).
