He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin T. Davis and Lois Anderson Davis; and his son James T. Davis. He is survived by : his wife Susan B. Davis; his children, Leigh R. Davis (John) and Blair Davis; his grandchildren, Taylor White, Christian Davis and Willow Davis; and his sister Debbie Jenkins (Dan).

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Great Fork Baptist Church Cemetery (180 Great Fork Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
