Carl leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Carl’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop Carl E. Eure, Sr. and Dorthy Everett Eure; and his daughter Kimberly Nicole Eure. He is survived by: his wife Essie Boone Eure; his sister Barbara Ann Eure Ashe; his niece Sheila Ashe Wesley (Therone) of Woodbridge, VA; his nephew Thaddeus Ashe, Jr.; his great-nephew Thaddeus Ashe, III; and his great-niece Tierra Ashe. He is also survived by family members including in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (2635 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
