Sweat of Suffolk; his grandchildren, Damias A. Sweat, Kennedy A. Sweat, Ellie M. Sweat, William E. Black IV and Luke Sinclair Leondus Sweat; his siblings, Kenneth Sweat of Chesapeake, VA, JuDonald Sweat of Franklin, VA and Carlette Sweat Copeland of Houston, TX; his aunts, Jean Hairston and Vivian House; his uncle Josh Sweat; his mother-in-law Rosa B. Hicks; and his siblings-in-law, Derwin Hicks (Margaret), Valerie Spencer (David) and Janine Rawls. He is also survived by seven nephews, 13 nieces, a host of cousins and friends.
