It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Shirley (Suffolk, Virginia), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 15, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Wendell Morong. She is survived by: her parent Mildred Hazel Blanchard Morong; her husband Shirley, Jr.; her daughter Elaine Verostek; her children-in-law, Jim Verostek, Steven Shirley, Diane Shirley, Bradford Shirley and Kathy Sue Shirley; her grandchildren, Lauren, Mark, Ashley, Matthew, Zachary, Samantha and Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Mattie Sue, Luke and Gracie.
