He is survived by: his wife Frances Gates Andrews of Crewe, VA; his sons, Thomas, Stephen (Holly) and Michael (Kit); his grandchildren, Alison Martin (Shan), Ashley Smith (Derrick), Joshua Hicks (Laura), Shari Grimes (Sean) and Alexandra Ashley (Justin); his great grandchildren, Lane Martin, Carter Martin, Sam Martin, Nathan Michael Smith, Ali Smith, Vada Ashley, Luna Ashley, Levi Hicks and Noah Hicks; and his friend Charlie Lambert.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
