She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rufus Copeland, Sr. and Betty Marsh Copeland; her husband Glenn Reid West; and her brothers, Frank R. Copeland, Jr. and Rudolph Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda West Johnson (James), Wayland West (Robyn Nunnally) and Stephen West (Lori); her grandchildren, Angie Johnson Geddings (Bryan), Matthew Johnson (Kristy), McKayla Dunn (Noah), Sheridan West, Rhett West, Alyssa West and Jett West; her great grandchildren, Brennan, Abby O'Neal, Zachariah, Hannah Johnson and Ellie Dunn; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Copeland and Hugh A. West.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the Holland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Thursday in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to Holland Baptist Church, Planting a Legacy Fund, P. O. Box 7086, Suffolk, VA 23437.
