She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Wilson Curnes and Vondeen Elizabeth Brand Curnes; and her siblings, Ann C. Foster, Audrey K. Curnes and Jerry R. Curnes.

She is survived by: her husband Lloyd C. Carr, Sr.; her sons, Lloyd Carr, Jr. and Keith Carr (Nancy); her grandchildren, Taylor and Miranda; and her sisters, Ginny Leavister (Roger) and Dixie Frederick (Tom). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church.
