He was predeceased by: his father John Fredrick Laxton; his grandparents, Thelma, Ferris Smith and Mabel Linda Laxton; his sister-in-law Lorraine Laxton; his nephew John Reid Laxton; and his aunt Sharon Allen.
He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Laxton-Ligon; his stepfather Jim Ligon; his brothers, John Laxton (Janet) and Kenny Laxton; and his close friend Cynthia Collins.
