She was predeceased by: her parents, Prather Beach and Mary Marie Hammonds Beach; and her son Charles Henry Woods, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Southerland; her children, David Philip Woods (Anita) of Chesapeake, VA, Jeffery Harrell Woods of Elizabeth City, NC and Amberly Goodwyn (Quentin) of Franklin, VA; her sister Fronie Richey of Dallas, GA; and her grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Bill, Avri-Yanna, Christopher, Megan and Quentin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
