She is survived by: her son Captain Todd Morgan; her daughter-in-law Terri Morgan (Coutts) of Suffolk, VA; her granddaughter Sydney Autumn Soward (Morgan); her brother Dr. Daniel Chase, Jr.; her sister-in-law Henrietta Chase (Wagus) of College Park, MD; her niece Cynthia Escalante (Richard Escalante) of Bowie, MD; and her friend Sadie Ellen Koser (McIntosh).
In 1980, she received the IAPPW Award for her "outstanding contributions to children and pupil personnel service".
