She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Frances Rountree Holland and James Clifton Holland; her brother Clifton Hunter Holland; her husband David Warren Baines of Nansemond County, VA; and her daughter Donna Frances Baines Sawyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Dolores Baines DeWald of Augusta, GA; her son-in-law Ken L. Sawyer of Suffolk, VA; her grandchildren, Clara Adele DeWald (Randy Shouse) of Augusta, GA, Seth Baines Sawyer (Chelsea) of Guyton, GA and Quinton Banes DeWald (Courtney) of Asheville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Elisha Maddox DeWald, Allison Virginia Sawyer, Nathaniel Levi Shouse, Marshall Bennett Sawyer and Zeno James DeWald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
