She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter T. Darden and Mildred Church Darden; her husband E. Vernon McClenney; her grandson Matthew Thomas Smith; and her siblings, Thomas Darden and Evelyn Darden Carr.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold D. Smith and Steven L. Smith (Karen); her grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Timothy Smith, Carter Smith and Madison Smith; her great grandchild Stone Smith; her daughter-in-law Karen Smith; her stepchildren, Michael V. McClenney, Lynda K. Summers and Nancy L. McClenney; and her brother-in-law Ellis McClenney. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces as well as all her friends.
