She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Gledhill and Laura Gledhill; her former husband Walter Woods; and her siblings, Albert Gledhill, Florence Waters, Hilda Buchanan, Peggy Marcotte and Winnie Wright.
She is survived by: her son Walter Woods (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sean Woods (Maddie), Candace Woods (Dustin), Kelly Oliver (Jacob) and Audrey "Tootsie" Woods; and her great grandchildren, Hudson, Laken, Elliot, Colton and Riley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Westerly Animal Shelter, 33 Larry Hirsch Lane, Westerly, RI 02891, in honor of Dot's lifelong love for animals.
