Lewis (Arnold); his grandparents, Abe Sr., Cherry Copeland, Jack and Mary E. Manley; his parents-in-law, David Williams Jr. and Annie Mary Williams; his aunts, Mary Langston and Edith Copeland; his uncle Joe Copeland Sr. (Lena Mae); and his siblings, Garland "Pete" Copeland (Sonja), Michael L. Copeland (Leisha), Christopher J. Copeland Sr. (Audrey), Rachel Copeland and Valerie Johnson (Allen).
