He was predeceased by : his parents, W. Melvin Smith and Annie Sue Smith; and his brother Melvin Smith, Jr. (late Leola). He is survived by : his wife Glenda Bradshaw Smith; his nieces, Arlene Smith and Lisa S. Tarkington (Steve); and his cousin Judy. He is also survived by children and a grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Liberty Spring Christian Church (4213 Whaleyville Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
