She was predeceased by: her former husband Bob; her husband Chuck; her mother Emma; and her sister Bonnie. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Omohundro; her sons, Michael Brooks (Michele) and Bryan Brooks (Janice); her grandchildren, Ashley Brooks, Robert Tyler Brooks, Rebecca Hasbrouck (Anthony) and Robert Rang (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Nico Hasbrouck and Hollyce Sumner; her sons, Alex (Reagan) and Nelson (Jamey); and her grandchildren, Nick, Sophie and Anna. She is also survived by her grandchildren as "Nonna", the warm grandmother.
