She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Grimstead and Johnnie Grimstead; her husband Eddie Brownlee; and her brother James Grimstead. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Grimstead Boggs and Donnell Grimstead; her grandsons, Anthony T. Boggs (Charnita), Shawn D. Boggs and Linwood D. Grimstead Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jirah A. Boggs and J'Niah A. Boggs; and her sister-in-law Azeal Grimstead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
