She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Freeman and Willie Martin; her husband Clyde Boone; her daughter Kathy Denise Ruffin; her grandsons, Brad Ruffin and Deshawn Bailey; and her siblings, Sarah Martin, Dorothy Freeman, Barbara Freeman Parker, Laura Rodgers, Joseph Macklin and Floyd White.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Boone, Labarbara Goodman, Gregory Boone (Towana Boone), Kevin Boone (Diane Boone) and Bobby Boone; and her sister Shirley Simpson. She is also survived by one brother; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
