He is survived by: his children, April C. Jones (Rob) of Portsmouth and David James of Lawrenceville, VA; his grandchildren, Ashton, Kaylyn Jones and Alyssa James; and his siblings, Gail C. Williams (Ken) of Suffolk, Eva Good, Anita Crutchfield, Tommy Crutchfield of Portsmouth and Preston "Chipper" Lanier of Chesapeake.
