It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Coreene Watts Banton (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Coreene Cunningham and Robert Edwin Watts; her husband Thurman Wiley Banton; her sons, Jerry and Larry Banton; and her sisters, Barbara Berger and Jean Inge.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Banton Hyatt, Wayne Banton (Donna), Ronald Banton (Debby) and Donald Banton; and her sister Laura Humphries. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
