We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2024, at the age of 81, Evelyn Hope Turner Whitehead of Suffolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Turner and Dorothy Elizabeth Butler Ellis; her daughter Kimberly Carter; and her siblings, Vivian Griggs, Brenda Boyce, Ann Tew and Thomas Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela C. Briggs (Joseph "Joey") and Danny R. Carter; and her children-in-law, Wanda Rountree (Steve), David Turner (Ann), Roland Griggs, Tommy Boyce, Bessie Stow and Harvey Tew. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Suffolk Humane Society.
