He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Everette Whitley, Sr. and Marie Rider Whitley; and his half-brother Terry Rider. He is survived by: his daughter Yvonne Marie Whitley; his grandchildren, Christy Marie Mathena, Rachel Lynn Newman (Steven) and Joseph David Bostwick (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Dalton, Lucian, Vincent, Lyndsey and Joey; his sister Jacquline Marie Lassiter (Rick); his half-sister Connie Norton (Bob); and his brother Percy Everette Whitley, Jr. (Diane).
