He was predeceased by: his parents, Tinsley F. Eaton and Bertha M. Eaton; his sister Ada L. Jones; his children, Quinton Eaton and Atina Eaton; his grandchildren, Christopher Eaton, Terry D. Holland, Jr. and Alkana Thomas Jr.; and his child Quenteisah Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Herlene Brown-Eaton; his children, Gary Eaton, Jr. of Long Beach, CA, Consandra Eaton (Malcolm) of Norfolk, VA and Duwayne Eaton of Norfolk, VA; his stepdaughters, Gloria Thomas (Alkana) of Portsmouth, VA, Maryann Brown, Gail Brown of Suffolk, VA and April Brown of Suffolk, VA.; and his aunt Carolyn. He is also survived by his wife, seven children, forty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
