He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Anderton, Sr. and Mildred Pauline Ward Anderton; and his brother Larry Anderton. He is survived by: his siblings, Tina Pitts, Cheryl Childress, Lois Warbritton, Mahala Anderton, Donald Anderton (Wanda) and James "Les" Anderton (Brenda); and his caregiver Pat Cray-Hollis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
