She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Dixon and Nettie Bradshaw Dixon; her daughter Pamela M. Coppola; her son-in-law James "Jimmy" Coppola; and her husband Durrell V. Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Mills Espinosa (Emil) and Durrell Scott Mills (Angie); her grandchildren, Erin (William), Matthew (Leigh Anne), Adam, Kaitlin (Nick), Michael and Austin; her great grandchildren, Will, Jackson, Carter, Noah and Josie; and her sister Faye Wells. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DOWNTOWN SUFFOLK (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Co. (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
