We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 76, Glenda Leigh Smith (Suffolk, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Glenda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Harris and Nathaniel Herman Bradshaw, Jr.; and her husband Earl Carter Smith. She is survived by: her nieces, Arlene Smith and Lisa S. Tarkington (Steve); and her aunts, Hazel White (Jimmy) and Flossie Fowler (David). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Spring Christian Church (4213 Whaleyville Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
