With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gordon Ray McMahon of Suffolk, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gordon Ray left this world on May 24, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene McMahon (Charles Hooker) and Harold McMahon; and his brothers, Glen and Gary McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. McMahon; his children, Charles R. McMahon and Linda M.; his son-in-law Marc Hughes; his grandchildren, Chad and Chloe Hughes; his brothers, Gralan, Greg and Gavin Hooker; and his sisters-in-law, Jean McMahon, Lily McMahon, Amy Hooker and Mary West (Frank West).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).
