He is survived by: his son Jamal Jarreau; his wife Maureen Trotman; his grandchildren, Jamauri, Marquis, Jamaine, Raena, Mekhi and Mikael; his great grandchild Jamali; and his siblings, Melvin Hunter (Juanita), Barbara (Russell), Lorraine (Larry), Juanita, Curtis and Loretta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
