She is survived by: her children, Larry D. Whitfield (Virginia) of Portsmouth, VA, Lapourt Davis, Jr., James A. Davis, Iris L. Davis of Suffolk, VA, Margaret A. Colander of Oxon Hill, MD and Brenda Whitfield of Portsmouth, VA; her uncle William "Mack" Whitfield; and her daughters, Delois Strothers (Dwayne) and Denise Teal (Jeri). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
