It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris M. Byrum (Suffolk, Virginia), born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her pet MuMu; her parents, Iris Rease Lyon and Jennings Lyon; her father-in-law Richard G Byrum, Sr.; her sister Kim Byrum; her husband Richard G. Byrum Jr.; her daughters, Helena Byrum, Angie Gent (Josh) and Mindy Baker; her grandchildren, Ricky, Waylon, Bradley, Charlee and Jules; her siblings, Jennings Lyon (Patty) and Carolyn Dozier (Ronnie); her mother-in-law Lelia Byrum; and her close friends, Bridget Graham, Ann Robertson and Susie Corbman. She was also cherished by several brothers and sisters in-laws, nieces and nephews.
