She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Glenn Watts and Mable Louise Shaver Watts; her husband Charles W. Mason, Jr.; her sister Nelda Taylor; and her granddaughter Destiny.

She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Hall (Mike) and Lisa Mummaw (Kenny); her grandchildren, Rebecca and Steven Mummaw, Jr.; her sister Susan Tippett; and her caregivers, Sarah and Linda.
