With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Marie Crowell Carnello in Suffolk, Virginia, born in Randolph, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin K. Crowell Sr. and Inez Smith Crowell; her husband Frank Anthony Carnello; and her siblings, Dorothy Benvi, Margaret Bagley and Mervin K. Crowell Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Matteucci (Steve), Laurie Nowitzky (Michael) and Linda Wilkie (Jason); her grandchildren, Mark, Abigail, Joseph, Neil, Noelle, Thomas, Vincent, Maria, Andrea, Elijiah, Eris and Axel; and her sister Ruth Galvin. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434).
