She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Jones, Sr. and Susie Luter Jones; her son William Lee Byrum, Jr.; her husband William Lee Byrum; her siblings, Jack, Charles Jones and Alma Parham; and her brother-in-law David Byrum.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Steelman; her grandchildren, Christian "Niki" Pruitt (Matt) and Shane Steelman (Jess); her great grandchildren, Madison Pruitt, Zachary Pruitt, Merrick Steelman and Adeline Steelman; her extended family Cindy Gay; her siblings-in-law, Sammy, Jack Byrum and Ruth Anne Wiggins; and her pet JJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
