She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosser Clayton Luter, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Rountree Luter; her siblings, Evelyn Archer and Rosser Clayton Luter, Jr.; and her son-in-law Stuart Doughtie.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Doughtie and Harry Edward Spalding (Christine); and her grandchildren, Harrison E. Spalding (Valeria), Taylor Doughtie and Paul Hayden Spalding (Michelle). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
