She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Edwards and George Hodges of Suffolk, Virginia.; her husband Ray Parker Sr.; and her daughter Erika Denise Cole. She is survived by: her siblings, Eloise Folks (Tony) and Melvin Bates Sr.; and her children, Cordelia Spencer-Jones, Pamela Wilson (Michael), Rhonda Poole (Harold), LaTanya Hamlin (Clyde), Ray Parker Jr. (Sherena), London Mullen, Phoenix Long (Rolonda Carter), Lakita Savage, John Ruffin, Samuel Parker (Keisha) and Ashley Parker. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, foster children, nieces, and nephews.
