It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Bunch Asbell of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Asbell and Pansy Asbell; his wife Linda L. Asbell; his sons, Chris Asbell (Emily) of Suffolk, VA and Andy Asbell (Valerie) of Madison, MS; his grandchildren, Drew, Ashton, Landry, Connor and Jackson; his brother Kenny Asbell, Jr. (Anita); and his nephew Alex Asbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Whaleyville Volunteer Fire Dept, P.O. Box 8037, Suffolk, VA 23438 or American Cancer Society, PO Box 4110, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
