He is survived by: his wife Crystal C. Copeland; his siblings, Janice M. Copeland and Roderick K. Copeland (Phyllis); his sister-in-law Clara Pasco Nelson of Cleveland; his children, Joseph H. Copeland, Jr. (Paulette), Natasha M. Copeland, Jonathan I. Copeland (Nicole), Terron A. Sumpter (Letrice) and Chelsea Y. Sumpter; his godson Fred L. Yulee; his uncle E. C. Copeland; and his aunt Hilda Abram. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
