He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Taylor of Suffolk, VA; his wife Lynn Barlow; his sisters, Hannah Bain of Wakefield and Sarah Wright of Smithfield; his sister-in-law Taylor Barlow; and his children, Nancy Alwood (David) of Midlothian, VA, Jo Anne Mathus (Bill) and Joseph H. Barlow, Jr. (Shelley). He is also survived by his five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
