With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Gilliam Cobb (Suffolk, Virginia), born in Chuckatuck, Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Howard Perry Cobb; her parents, Raymond Taylor and Mamie "Dot" Gilliam; her sisters, Frances G. Tappen and Nancy G. Lambden; Daniel.

She is survived by: her son Howard Perry Cobb, Jr. (Frances) of Virginia Beach; her grandsons, Howard Perry Cobb III (Kimberly) of Chesapeake, Gordon Phillips Cobb (Connie) and Bruce Shannon Cobb (Gail) of Richmond; her son Raymond Gilliam Cobb of Roanoke, VA; her granddaughter Alice Ashton Anderson (Thomas) of Midlothian, VA.; and her mother-in-law Alice. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
