She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Bowden and Julia M. Bowden; her husband Joseph P. Eason; her son Joseph P. Eason, Jr.; her siblings, George T. Bowden, Jr. and Jane Jones Baker; and her son-in-law David M. Peters.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Eason Peters of Kingsport, TN; and her granddaughter Tiffany P. Jones (Chris). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
