She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Welch and Phillips Marshall. She is survived by: her husband David; her sons, Matthew (Liz), Doug (Amanda) and Mark (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jace, Hailey, Heather, Alyssa, David, Daniel and Alexander; and her brother Phillips Marshall II.
She had a unique way to connect with her students that inspired some to teach and others to make significant contributions to the world.
