He is survived by: his wife Mary V. Copeland of Suffolk, VA; his children, Marcus Hardy (Kesha), Pamela Reynolds (Marvin) and Arnetra Harston of Suffolk, VA; his siblings, Ernest Williams (Diane) of Hampton, VA and Helen Breckenridge of Portsmouth, VA; his mother-in-law Mamie E. Skinner; his siblings-in-law, George Skinner of Philadelphia, PA, Milton Mizell (Pamela) of Portsmouth, VA, Jonah Mizell of Suffolk, VA, Steve Mizell of Suffolk, VA, Maria Andrew of Suffolk, VA, Lisa Williams of Suffolk, VA, Jeanette Mizell of Suffolk, VA, Precena Wiggins (Virgil) of Suffolk, VA and Denise Riddick of Suffolk, VA; his grandchildren, Alexis Campbell Aliyah Hardy, Marcus Hardy, JayKela Lewis, Janiya Lewis, Roshaud Skinner, Myesha Snead, Aldru Chapman Jr. ZaCari Love, Mylasia Reynolds, Jasmine Knight, Jaden Knight and Ayanna Harris; his great grandchildren, Azaan Smith and Jayden Fullerton; his goddaughter Sarah Knight (Dedrick); his cousin Catherine Sawyer; his niece Trevar Parker; and his close friends, Sherita Hicks and Priscilla Mills.
