With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Dean Pledger (Suffolk, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry Dean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Larry Dean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pledger and Gertrude Pledger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Pledger; and his children, Lorrie Thurston (John), Pat Teager, Eddie Anderson (Terri), Tom Anderson and Joe Pledger. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Compassion Church (750 Manning Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
