She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie C. Deaver; her parents, William McKinley and Clyde Watson Turner; her siblings, Elwood Turner (Lissie), Eldridge Turner (Thelma) and Jean Evans (Harvey); and her nephew Danny Hinton.
She is survived by: her sister Jo Hinton; her sibling's children, Pat West, Linda Pittman, Cammie Sanders, Lynn Israel (Fred), Luann Skinner (Danny) and Tim Evans (Debbie); her stepsons, Tim Deaver and Greg Deaver (Maggie); and her stepgrandson Gregory Deaver. She is also survived by several great nieces and a nephew, great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nansemond River Baptist Church, 2896 Bridge Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435.
