She is survived by: her husband Charles Slaughter (Jack); her daughter Joyce Slaughter-Bynum (Lance) of Randallstown; her grandchildren, Sheniqua Bynum of Randallstown and Darius Bullock of Suffolk; her brothers, Rev. Lemuel Greene (Judy) and Clyde Edmond (Mary); her uncle John Henry Steverson; and her daughters, Wanda Riddick and Anita Baker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Ministries (307 County St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
