She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ernest Edmond and Lelia Doles; and her husband Joseph Layfette Boone Sr.. She is survived by : her son Joseph Lafayette Boone Jr.; her brother William Ernest Boone "Tate" (Lemuel Cromwell Boone); her granddaughter Connie Boone Kindred; her children, Yvonne Green (Leon), Steven L. Boone and Vincent M. Boone; her sister Ethel Barret; and her grandchildren, Lois Wicks, Angela Holland (Rodney), Steven L. Boone, Ebony N. Neptune, William E. Boone and Staci L. Boone. She is also survived by great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
