She is survived by: her siblings, Eugene Yanosy, Jacqueline Ruiz and Cheryl Yanosy; her children, Todd McGovern (Heather), Gillian Hardy (Brad) and Timothy McGovern (Recinda); and her grandchildren, Milli, Ivy, Neve McGovern, Ada, Mary Allyn Hardy, Ryan, Austin Oliver, Layla and Nadia McGovern.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Nansemond River Preservation Alliance, an organization she passionately supported.
